I'll definitely create a backup copy before I make any changes and I've been resisting the temptation to go in and change the dates but will give into that temptation if I've not heard back from Datacolor support by tomorrow (Monday)--I've always found support to be responsive so I'm pretty sure they'll get back to me tomorrow. Thanks for the change Prefs suggestion. I currently have recalibration set for 6 months.

I'm wondering if the dates didn't update because I was logged in to a different userid than the userid I was on when I installed the Spyder3 Elite software--both users are admin level--and I don't know if there is something set internally as to userid during the installation process. I did do a bit of Registry diving just to see what's there and didn't find any userid-specific info so I don't think that's the issue but as a friend of mine used to say wtfdik...'-}}
