Yes calibration reloads after a time rather than being remaining loaded as in W7

There is a bug in Wi n 8.1 which causes this. You could either go back to Win 8 or disable going to sleep and set screen saver to never.

There is another update called Win 8.1 update coming out soon which should fix this.
