The Utility should be reloading this within one minute. Thats all we can do from the Datacolor side, and should be sufficient to assure that the display is correct for color managed work. It may be annoying that its off initially on waking, but then, you can’t really trust the color of a display until it has warmed up anyways, so while it is inconvenient that Win8 isn’t doing this correctly, its not a major color management failure.

There is a bug in Wi n 8.1 which causes this. You could either go back to Win 8 or disable go ing to sleep and set screen saver to never.

There is another update called Win 8.1 update coming out soon which should fix this.
