Bigger problems than I originally thought! was version 2.3.2 wont recognize spy

2006-10-06 by Randy Laskody

I just built a new work station on a asus P5N32-SLI SE DELUXE
motherboard. 2 gig of kingston dual channel ram with a intel core 2
duo 6400 processor on a western digital 10,000 sata HD. Really fast!
Problem is C1 and photoshop are acting up big time. C1 will not allow
me to select a preview folder, nor will it allow me to select a folder
for the media reader. Really weird. IT is not a folder permissions
problem, I think it is a scripting problem. I see the folder tree ok
on the left in C1, but no previews show up when I open a folder. I
tried 5d images and d30 images and jpegs with no luck.

Photoshop will not allow me to select a destination folder for the
batch function or the image processing function. It seems both
programs have sort of the same bug. I installed the origial Spyder2pro
off of the cd and got it to work. What would be happening that would
prevent C1 and PS from latching on to a folder? I know you guys on
this forum are really smart so I am asking as I am desperate for an
answer. Adobe just said send a bug report and C1 is still scratching
there heads.

Any ideas?

Randy
