Color Calibration of HP 2335 Monitor

Color Calibration of HP 2335 Monitor

2007-01-10 by Edward Carreon

I am trying to calibrate my HP 2335 Monitor (G5 dual 1.8 Mac connected
to it and am running OSX 10.4.8) and my problem is two fold. First the
screen is always much brighter than the prints, even after previously
calibrating and secondly (most importantly!) when I try and calibrate
the screen using advise from Colorvision ("controls unchecked") and I
try align the RGB bars to get the color controls to with a .5%, the
green bar requires so much adjustment that the whole screen turns
hideous green and I sill can't get near the .5% difference.

I am not sure why this is a problem now as it has not been in the past
and Colorvision has not called back with support in two days after
promising support within the hour on several occasions.

Any thoughts folks? I would prefer not to ditch the product because it
worked well in the past.

Can't really comment on your issue, as your description is not clear to me.
As for support; the best way to get help is from the support ticket system on
the Colorvision.com website. They are a bit shorthanded at the moment
(Macworld and CES are both happening at once!), but they will get to your ticket,
even if you left it by phone. The first tier phone support people may not get all
the necessary info, so its important to leave an email address to allow for
effective ticket processing.
