Spyder3Elite loyalty upgrade program

Spyder3Elite loyalty upgrade program

2007-11-20 by CDTobie@aol.com

For those of you who have been asking about an upgrade program to the new Spyder3, here it is:

http://www.colorvision.com/newsletter/s3e-loyalty.html

Please note that this is a limited time offer. I always get notes from people months, even years, after such programs have closed asking about upgrading, so please spread the word to people that this is currently available, so that they won't feel like they missed their chance...

Re: Spyder3Elite loyalty upgrade program

Hi

can you tell me if this is a "valid only in US" deal? I bought one of
the original Printfix Pro suites, which as was acknowldeged wasn't very
useable. When the 'upgrade' came out I found I wasn't eligible since I
don't live in the US. So I wrote it off and bought a new Spyder2 Pro
Suite a few months ago. I would like to upgrade without having to pay
the full cost yet again.

And no, it doesn't work going to see my regional reseller - the pricing
structure they have to work with means they can not compete with the
global marketplace. The price of the Spyder2 Suite was roughly double
locally to what was available in the US.

I assume you mean PrintFIX; if it was PrintFIX PRO, it would have come with a handheld spectro, and you could upgrade for free to Spyder3Print. There is no way to upgrade from PrintFIX, since it used a portable scanner instead of a spectro.

Loyalty programs are a regional thing. The North American webstore can only sell to US and Canadian addresses. So you will have to contact our Asia Pacific team, or your local distributor, to see what they will be doing in terms of User Loyalty programs in your area.

Not something I can do anything about. I just develop the stuff; I'm not involved in international distribution issues. But I am curious; it does not cost more to buy our products is Europe than in the US, I wonder why NZ has such steep pricing differences?

Sorry!
