Patch speed reading competition??

Patch speed reading competition??

2006-03-12 by Keith Cooper

Hi

Why all the rush to speed up patch reading? Is there a prize or something? :-)

I found that concentrating on accuracy gets much better results. When I was first looking at
the PF PRO I was asked by lots of people exactly how long it took me to read xxx patches -
like it -really- mattered ;-)

OK, it's just me then ... I'll get my coat... :-)

Well, given that the competing (though much more expensive) packages read patches faster, the marketing push from those companies is bound to focus on speed of patch reading. I agree, its not the be-all and end-all, but it will be the pitch and spin you will hear, none the less!

No rush, it's hard to see where the nosecone is sometimes on the
darker patches. By putting some type of making on the nosecone it
becomes easier to place the spectro over the patch. The benefit is
more accuracy and faster reading of the patch sheet.

You never know maybe there will be a patch reading contest sometime,
might be fun too. :-)

I am still pimping out my Spetro myself, once I get some flame
decal's for the sides I'll post some pic's....
