Teflon stickers, silver paint

Teflon stickers, silver paint

2006-03-13 by Jack Winberg

Brian:

Please, where does one get those Teflon stickers?

Also somebody mentioned silver paint for the tip (or white paint),
where would one find that in a handy form to apply. I have a
terrible time seeing the outline of the tip on a dark patch.

BUT the results are worth it!

I use a white china marker as it's not permanent.

Any good stationary/art store will have silver metallic pens...I just did a search and Sharpie
has them:

Hello Jack,

I simply shine a fashlight beam across the page onto the spot I'm
reading. The total nose area is larger than the portion which actually
reads the color values. I was concerned, as you are, about reading
more than the square and including some of the white borders. Unless
you straddle two squares, the instrument is very accurate.

Your friend in Photography,

Johnny

Do a search for "XTRAC Mad Dotz Mouse Feet Dotz" "Xray Pads
Zerofriction" "Mouseskates" newegg.com has them for $4.00. They are
the slices stuck to mouse feet to decrease the friction between the
mouse and the mouse pad. Furthermore, they help to protect the
original mouse feet and the mouse pad, saving you the expenditure of
replacement.
