Help: creating ICC profiles with PrintFix Pro + Epson 3800
2008-01-25 by digiman69
I red all the suggested step in this forum on how correctly creating ICC profile with the PrintFix Pro recently bought it. I calibrated it with the white point on the base before measuring the patches/target (the 225 targets one). I select from the Epson 3800 driver utility OFF as colour management and followed all the steps correctly as indicated. The patches were visibly not so much different respect to the calibration after the measurement, so I think my printer should be ok (its's new and I obvioulsy done all the tests and settings before printing). When I set the ICC profile created for the Epson Ultra Glossy paper on the driver of the 3800 (colour management section the same where I select OFF to print the target)I then got a totally dark print, printing for photoshop. My Photoshop settings are: Photoshop to manage colur - ICC profile selected - relative colorimetric. What's wrong? Thanks all Gian Paolo
