I got an ATI 3870 Video card with component out going to Television and the DVI going to my new 22" Samsung 2253BW LCD monitor. But the stupid chooser keeps using the profile on the TV screwing them colors up bad and not fixing the colors on the monitor. How do I make this stupid profile chooser use the correct display?

I'm in contact with Colorvision now on the issue. It keeps selecting the wrong display is the problem. It doesn't effect the monitor but only the Television for some reason thinking it's the default. Well anyways I gave up on using profile for now and just did a color calibration adjusting the colors themselves on the monitor. It does improve it alot maybe not as quite as much as with a profile but it is useable now. I notice the latest version of Spyder3Print includes an accessory called the SpyderGuide. Does anyone know anything about it? Is it helpful? I currently use a ruler to guide movement of the Spectro when I'm reading a chart. Does the Spyderguide improve on that? Is the SpyderGuide available as a separate item? I don't see it on the Colorvision web site. If so, how much? Lot's of questions. Any answers? Tom Moore
