Try restarting the application after the spectro is plugged in. If
that doesn't do it, try going to prefs, and if the device and serial
number are not listed, toggle device to "none" and back, to see if
that gets it communicating. Until it lists in prefs, it's not going to
work.
One more suggestion. Try a computer back USB Port, if you port isn't
fully powered, the spectro won't function correctly.
