Spyder3Pro v3.0.7: Icon missing from the system tray

Spyder3Pro v3.0.7: Icon missing from the system tray

2009-01-12 by tlbepson

At some point yesterday (Sunday 1/11/09), the Spyder3Pro Utility icon
disappeared from the system tray (WinXP/SP2 and I do not hide inactive
icons)--system had been running at least 24hours.

I had this happen a few days ago but I had been attempting to open the
utility by clicking on the system tray icon and I figured that perhaps
I'd inadvertantly clicked on the exit option.

That was not the case yesterday as I'd not done anything with any of
the system tray icons.

I'm not sure what's going on. The profile and LUTs are still loaded--I
can tell from the screen colors--so it's not a big deal but I find it odd.

Can you tell me the "system process" name I should look for in active
processes (via ctrl-alt-delete > Processes)? I could restart the
utility and then check but I'd like to check the active processes list
to see if it is there and it's just that the system tray not
displaying the icon.

Thanks!
