Green Tint after Calibration with Sypder2plus v 2.3.6

Green Tint after Calibration with Sypder2plus v 2.3.6

2009-05-31 by nvmoss

I have been using a Samsung 275t LCD monitor for about 1 year. I have calibrated it numerous times with the Sypder2. A week of so ago, I updated the software to v 2.3.5. I got a green tint after calibrating, so I looked at the DataColor website and found that installing v2.3.6 should fix this problem. However, the problem was the same after the update.

I opened a trouble ticket with DataColor. the response said to delete all the monitor profiles and all entries in the color management tab on the Screen properties advanced dialog. This didn't work either. The Spyder2 is plugged into the same USB port as always. The only other change to the system over the past several months is the addition of a scanner (USB port). I tried disconnecting this device, but that didn't help either.

If I use an old profile, there is no tint, and the monitor is otherwise working fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Nelson

Keep talking to support; there should be a way to delete the old
driver thoroughly if that's the issue.
