disable NVIDIA driver?

disable NVIDIA driver?

2010-01-11 by carltj

Win 7 64 bit NVIDIA 9500GS Spyder elite. I note after downloading latest from NVIDIA that my color display is highly saturated and brighter than my Elite calibration had determined appropriate. In the past I had just turned off my NVIDIA Compatible Win 7 Display Driver in startup in msconfig. The latest download from Nvidia had gotten a new driver going in startup, which I surmise has thrown me off. So, question is, should I go into the software and dial down all the NVIDIA color settings? or, uncheck it in the startup? If I do disable it, how will this effect my processing in video editing?

Can't comment on how it will effect your processes; but clearly you
need to disable whatever component it is which is trashing you VLUT
calibration.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
