Spyder 3 Pro version 3.1.3 Strange Behavior

Spyder 3 Pro version 3.1.3 Strange Behavior

2009-12-13 by mjfait

In Spyder 3 Pro version 3.1.3 when you select thr Recalibrate option and got in "Current Settings" window and then select "Change Current Settings", at the bottom of the window it's supposed to display:

Grey Balanced Calibration: ON
Ambient Light Compensation: OFF

but it only says:

                            ON
                            OFF

This used to display correctly in version 3.0.7 but not in 3.1.2 and I was hoping that it was fixed in version 3.1.3, but it wasn't.

Has anyone else seen this?

Please send me this information, along with your OS, OS version, and
other system info, so that we can figure out what situations it occurs
in; it certainly didn't happen on the systems that testing was done
on...

I am using Windows XP Pro, with all the updates.

If you want other system info, please be specific as to what you need.

I still had a copy of version 3.0.7 and re-installed it, and it was OK. Updated to 3.1.3 and the problem came back.

If you e-mail me your e-mail address I can send you the screen captures using Outlook. I don't know how to attach them in this group.

Thanks, I've forwarded your screenshots and OS info to the team
members involved, to assure that they are aware of this anomaly.

Re: Spyder 3 Pro version 3.1.3 Strange Behavior - Update

2010-01-13 by mjfait

Any response from the OS team.

I have an update.

I built a new computer over the Christmas holidays replacing everything except the hard drives and monitor and did a clean re-install of the OS (Win XP Pro again) and all the software and still have the same problem with Spyder 3 Pro v 3.1.3.

I'm surprised that more people don't have this issue as I've had this issue with 2 completely different sets of computer hardware.
