I have been using a profile I created 6 months ago. I just purchased a new paper and attempted to build a profile for it, using the 225 patch target. Everything goes fine until I finish reading the target and I move on to the Build Profile Setup screen. Making no changes, I click on Next and the error message appears. This has never happened before, and I am using the same computer and printer that I have successfully profiled many papers on. Thanks for your help. Gene

You should download and upgrade (for free) to the Spyder3Print SR 4.1 (OSX) or 4.1.1 (Windows) version. You can also download and read the Update Notes to see what's changed. (If you're running Windows, then use the Uninstall command in the Start menu, with the spectro unplugged, to Uninstall the older version before you install the 4.1.1 version). David, Thanks for responding so quickly - the error message was in the subject line, but I will uninstall the current software, reboot, then install the new version. I'll post again if I still have a problem. Thanks. Gene _____

David, I couldn't use the new software because the computer I do my printing on is still using Win2000. Fortunately re-installing the older software did the trick. Thanks for your help. Gene _____
