When I was having trouble with the profiles I was getting back in December, a friend of mine loaned me his 1005 Spectro unit to see if it would produce different results [1]. In order to do this test, however, I had to enter the serial number of his mouse on my system. A couple of questions about the impact of this: First, is there any way that my activation of his serial number cause him any trouble down the road. Second, at this point the "About" dialog of my software lists two license codes -- mine and his. Is there any way to delete the second code from my software, or should I just not worry about it?

[1] actually, I think it did, slightly, although not to the degree that I was thinking it might.

Its a "don't worry about it" situation in both directions. Having  
activated on one system won't keep the device from activating on  
others, and having two devices activated on your system won't cause  
issues with the device you usually use. But it would be a good idea to  
keep a copy of the activation code, so that you can utilize the device  
without an internet connection on new systems in the future.
