Black lines between patches

Black lines between patches

2010-03-09 by Phiegze

WinXp Spyder Print3 4.1.1; Canon ipf6100

On the 3rd set of patches (out of four) the printer printed
black lines vertically between all the patches.

Is the set of patches still trustworthy.
I'm low on paper and don't really want to waste a sheet just on a guess.

Thanks

Yes, they are. The 4.x software puts black separators
as vertical lines between some of the patches to provide
enough contrast for strip reading, for those who are using the
new SR spectro. For those who are using an original DC1005, the
black lines will make no difference.

You'll notice that the same black lines which you see in the
target prints are also shown in the previews of the target on
the UI screen for selecting the target to print - it's because
they're now part of the target, and they've been deliberately
put there.
