Spyder 3 Express for more than one mac

Spyder 3 Express for more than one mac

2011-07-13 by grandpollo

I use my Spyder 2 Pro for my Mac Pro and a MacBook Pro and bought another MacBook pro for travel can I use one Spyder 3 Express for all 3 with one license? I don't really want to buy three ofnthem. Thanks.

If it's allowed do I activate three times or once then use the serial number from the first for the other two?

The Spyder license is a site license: all the computers and displays at a given site, plus a few portables. So you are more than covered, with one Spyder and one license.

If you save the activation code, and tape it to the cable, you will be able to use that Spyder on any computer, without re-activating. Just install the same level of software that you are licensed for on a machine (keeping the installer on a USB memory stick makes that simple) and you are good to go. Wouldn't hurt to keep that activation code on that same USB stick, as well, though its specific to the Spyder, not the stick...
