match Adobe RGB color space?

That monitor-printer problem is resolved.
After making a printer profile, I notice that the resulting color space matches the sRGB 1966 color space almost exactly - just a hair's breadth larger than sRGB.
This has been consistent, across several different printer profiles made from the same target prints and target readings.
Is this due to the limitations of the monitor, or is there a way to get the profile(s) to match the Adobe RGB color space, as seen through SpyderPRINT?
