Some one beat you to it: http://youtu.be/phLe4F8mRoc
But why stop here? Next we should have a remote hologram of Elton John.

Agreed, this was pretty awesome showcase of artistry and technology. I recognized the venue as the Aladdin theater at California Adventure at Disneyland in Anaheim. My only two beefs were that 1. Wish that we had live keyboard performances from a few of the other performers, particularly Dave Foster and Sarah McLachlan. and 2. Sir Elton John finally took the stage fairly late. We were CST - and my wife and daughter were too tired to stay up.
Other than that, the entire show was great. I took some cell-phone 720p video of his first two songs - and will be posting it on YouTube so that people can see what a marvel the technology is. It really was like having Sir Elton John right there in my foyer...
Bravo and Thanks Yamaha! It's a shame that the price (and thus the technology) is so far out of range for most people. I think that this is something that Yamaha should donate to more school music programs so that kids can see Remote Live piano performances from masters around the world. Great way to get grass-roots music education, and publicity for Yamaha and the advances they've made for music.

Thank you, thank you! Bill, Jim, and all of you at Yamaha!
We all felt Elton John's powerful presence at home. He really worked out and woke up the piano alive. I connected the E3 to a half decent spare home receiver with old Bose Accoustimass speakers. No equalization of any kind. What an amazing performance! The E3 was only at volume 3, lid half closed, and i played around with the receiver's volume control for perfect harmony with the piano. There's more room to bring the sound pressure level up if I had to and that's nice assurance knowing that it has that capability.
The choice of emcee was superb! The lineup of musicians was also great. It was a very, very enjoyable event. My family including in-laws all had a great wonderful time last night.
Thank you once again!

Bravo !!! To Bill, Crew, and Yamaha!!
The show last night was absolutely breath taking, especially if you had a little quality audio gear connected.
I was shock to see my wife actually smile in joy as she sat amazed at what was going on right in the comfort of her own living room.
Great job Yamaha and thanks again Bill for all your help.

Only Elton is going to be playing RemoteLive.
However, between each act, you will see a small keyboard displayed on the screen and it will be played. Your piano should play when you see the keyboard being played.

Are the artists prior to Elton supposed to be playing through the Disklavier? So far no acoustic piano playback. My remote live is working as I can play any of the on demand performances.

I have never run RemoteLive successfully. I was never made it past the "Sync Setting" on page 7 of the RemoteLive installation PDF since that requires access to the Setup menu. Clicking "Setup" crashes the app after delivering the incompatibility message and takes me to the I/F Updater screen.
I have no Internet access anymore. When I click "Internet" I get a big red X and Error Code 2001, telling me to restart everything.
BTW I can play stuff from the local DKV library no problem.
Before I did the updates I had net access and DKV Radio no problem.
Thanks,
John
