I have a Mark II and I would love to connect it directly to a DKC850 without using the midi cables, which is what I believe you have been able to do with the 9 to 15 pin adaptor.
Can you please tell me what I need to do to make my Mark II be like a Mark IIXG that can be controlled directly by the DKC850 by using the 9 to 15 pin adaptor instead of the midi cables which would limit its usefullness, and it would require that the DKC100 controller for the Mark II still be used via midi?

I appreciate as much detail as you can give since I had never heard of this option before.

Thanks.

Dan

I purchased the 9 to 15 pin adaptor and the hammer sensor board to update my mark ii to a iixg but I need a 500 controller to write to the new hammer sensor board and pk Ctrl boards. A that time I will purchase the Dkc 850. Which will compete the update and allow Internet radio.
Essentially I am updating my mark ii to a iixg and then updating to 850. Will not have silent play or smart keys but will have Internet and Internet radio.

Hi, do you have a markII or a markIIxg ? The latter allows I believe, the internet radio option of the DKC850 (I have it installed on my mpx1 wich is initially with DKC500R and MarkIIXG silent . For which purpose do you wish to have an xg controller for a week ?

Seems the dkc 850 will not get internet radio on my Mark ii. So does anyone have and old dkc500rxg (Mark iixg) controller that has be upgraded that I might be able to purchase or borrow for a week.
