The DKV will see the first file on the disk, and then only see files like it on the disk. So if a Midi format 0 is the first file, it won't see Midi format 1 files on the diskette. There is a free convert program on the Pianodisc website, courtesy of Roland, that will convert SMF 1 files to SMF 0. PianoDisc only plays MIDI format 0 files.
