Re: [disklavier] Asking again...

Good morning, everyone.

The Mark IIXG and Mark III systems had a built-in function for multi-track recording. The DKC-850 does not have this feature. The DKC-850 does, however, support the playback of multitrack MIDI files as well as multitrack MIDI data that is received from an external source, such as from a computer or InternetRadio.

I have never thought of the lack of built-in, multitrack recording to be an issue because multitrack recording is so much easier to accomplish using your Disklavier with a sequencer that runs on a computer. I can understand, however, that there are Disklavier owners who may wish that feature was available on the DKC-850.

Regards,
PianoBench

Thanks for yor reply!
Why is the new one not so good for multitracking?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
