Disklavier

Hello,
My name is Patricia Spedden, I havea Yamaha Disklavier DC6A, and you helped me with some issues when I purchased myDisklavier.  I'm now working on my 5th CD, am now practicing inpreparation for recording, and I hoped I could ask you a couple questionsagain.
1.  In the advanced manualunder "Recording Songs to a Computer Sequencer," the instructionsshould lead to this display:
>Midi Out = KBD Out

  To Host  = KBD Out.

However, when I get to that point,the 2nd line (To Host = KBD Out) is missing.  Only Midi Out =KBD Out appears.  How can I get to that 2nd line?  Do I even need to get to the second line? Is it missing because of my present setup?


 

2.  How do I decide whichchannel option to use for transmitting keyboard and continuous pedal data(including half pedaling)-- 1-16 or HP?  I think I've just used Ch 1 for everything--midi & pedal data.  I need to be sure to capture half pedaling, which I use a lot.
