Frank, I am assuming that you have downloaded and installed the appropriate CBX driver for your operating system and that you have connected the serial port of your computer with the TO HOST port of your disklavier's controller with the proper cable, and set the slider switch to the proper setting for a PC (as opposed to a Mac or to the midi setting). See your disklavier's user manual if any of these steps are confusing to you. If you have done these things, and you are using Sonar, then open up Sonar, select Options, select Midi Devices, and make sure that the CBX driver is moved to the top of your available list of midi devices and that it is selected, i.e. highlighted in blue. Failure to do this step will make the CBX driver unavailable to Sonar even though the driver has been properly installed on your computer. Your disklavier should now be accessible and you should be able to play back midi files from Sonar using your disklavier as the midi device.
