Good evening, everyone, and happy holidays! You mentioned that your piano is a model DGP1XG. I am not sure of the descrepancy. Given the various permutations of the Disklavier (record & playback, record only, Pro, et cetera), the terms Mark II, Mark IIXG, and Mark III tend to be used somewhat loosely. If your unit is a DGH1BXG, the playback features of your instrument most closely match a Mark IIXG piano by virtue of the built-in XG tone generator, the support for Type 0 and 1 Standard MIDI Files, and the support for high-density disks. The DGH1BXG came out less than a year before the full-featured Mark IIXG Disklaviers. Regards, PianoBench
