Disklavier

I'm just confirming that my piano operates the same way when
headphones are plugged in, and I also find it irritating.  I have a
DC1S MarkIIXG that was built around 1998/1999.  I've considered
modification to the silent system box (shouldn't be too difficult),
but it looks like it requires removal of the left piano leg to
dismount the box, so I've just ignored it so far.  I may just mount a
remote power switch for the speakers next to the silent control box.
