Pianobench, Thanks for the post. At lease you confirmed that someone else has a silent system that operates like mine. I bought mine when the silent system was relatively new. From the response Tom Wheeler gave (he has a DC3A) it sounds like they may have corrected this. Pulling the "AUX" plug out is a good idea except that my amplified speaker gives off a big "buzzzzzz" sound when you pull the plug. Oh well, luckily I'm still "young" enough to climb under our grand each night that I want to practice with the silent system on.
