Thanks. > -Sean > macaw22@... _______________________________ Hi Sean, I found this : http://www.adisklavier.com/ They will record your disklavier files on a C7 disklavier, in a classy studio environment. However, different disklavier will react differently (uprights do not have the same soleno\ufffdd definition) and what's more, the dynamics of the instrument can vary quite a lot because pianos are living beings... So, depending on the accuracy you're aiming at, one first step would obviously be to fine-tune the disklavier you will record on. A Google research on "disklavier studio recording" found studios equipped with a disklavier grand. I guess they could help you, even if they had not thought about it before. If there is such a studio in your neighborhood, check them for that. You could come with you floppy, and in an hour time you get what you want - you could even check the sound with the home tech, and change it to suit your taste. A 1 hour recording session is something studios could benefit of. Studio grands are usually miked, it's a simple task without need for gimmicks, and they have spare time more than once in a while. So I guess you could easily get what you want for a good price. my 2 cents ! Jean Debefve, Belgium > > > > *Yahoo!
