Congratulations on your purchase of the DGT7A.  I am sure that it is 
going to give you many years of enjoyment. 

As for your question regarding using a line conditioner or surge 
suppresser, I would strongly recommend that you place a UPS 
Uninterruptable Power Supply) in the line between your piano and the 
power outlet.  I have a Yamaha DC3A, and I would not even dream of 
plugging it directly into the wall outlet.  Here in North Carolina we 
have lots of thunderstorms.  A UPS is about the best protection that I 
can give my Yamaha.
