Wayne,
If you can provide me with a part number I could try here in Australia, I run an account with Yamaha Music Australia Pty Ltd.

Kind Regards,

Leigh Whitley of: Lemuria Enterprises

Subject: [disklavier] Anyone Knows?

Dear group members,

I am a pretty outdated disklavier user so please bear with me about the question I am searching for answer.

I have an older C3 disklavier grand, with a control wagon, but without the cable, an older styled round 16-pin male-to-female cable connecting the piano and the control wagon. My piano like this has been described by YAMAHA-USA as "Gray Market" product which one should never touch or deal with. For the Disklavier old timers, you probably know exactly what I am talking about.

I called Yamaha Piano Service several times wanting to buy the cable, but when I was asked about the serial numbers, the answer is always "sorry, your piano is not a serial number that we support."

Does anyone know where I can go to get that control cable, either used or new?

Thanks,

Wayne
