Hello, someone I know has a mx100A that they may sell. I am thinking of making an offer for it but I have a few questions first. It dates from 1988 and, I gather does not play mp3 files. It also can only take the 720 kb 3.5 inch floppy disks. The piano part of it is reasonable although considerable hammer head ware. I have seen it working although, it did seem to be playing with some force, hence the hammer ware. The owner cannot find the manual. So my questions How much of a disadvantage not being able to play mp3 files? Could I convert mp3 to the format to play on it? Could I upgrade it to a more modern system, i.e. cd drive or connect it to a computer? Can I download a manual if the existing one cannot be found? Any idea as to what one of these may be worth in the uk? Casework is a bit tatty. I think it has been in a pub at some time so, some spillages but nothing spilled inside. Finally, any major disadvantages, other than those mentioned with this model? Thanks for any advice and sorry about the basic questions. Keith - - Keith Barrett gw4nby Bridgend South Wales
