Disklavier

Out of curiosity I looked here: <<you can purchase them at

and did not see them. I don't need any, but since others do, do you  know 
where to look? I did a search with no results.
 
And as another way to get discs, when I got my disklavier I asked family  and 
friends, and got several misc. disks plus a 50 pack, and I asked on  
freecycle and got 2 full 50 packs and some misc. ones. People were thrilled to  give 
them to me and reclaim space! Now I probably have a lifetime supply.
 
However my unit uses the HD ones, so there are more available I am sure.  And 
somewhere I know I have a stash as my old Emax sampler used them and I used  
to order them by the five hundreds.....and I am sure other Emax and other 
sample  owners out there probably still need them.......
 
ok, NOW THAT MY CURIOSITY IS PIQUED......
 
this includes info on drilling the holes to change format (used to work  like 
a charm and I bought the puncher and did many hundreds that way  
successfully) , taping the holes to downsize to 720k, and all you ever could  want to know 
and then some.

Brings back memories, huh? my first computer had two 5-1/4 floppy  drives, a 
low and a high density one and a whopping few hundred kilobytes of  RAM.
 
When 3.5 disks were first available they were like gold - a box of 10  set my 
back maybe 55 or 60 bucks. And of course lyou needed 50 or more to do a  
complete backup of your computer........and it took hours changing those discs  
one by one.
 
Well I think you might want to start with getting the HD ones and covering  a 
hole to see if it works before stressing out to find the DD ones. But even if 
 you do need them there must be a stash somewhere that you can get for free 
or  close to free.
