Sorry to those who were annoyed by my *KEEP PRIVATE E-MAIL PRIVATE *blast to all on the list. I came back for being away from my e-mail for a week and had scads of dug e-mail to sort through. The private conversations notwithstanding, I had to sort through the other posts that had no subject line description of DK model to allow me to use my e-mail filter. If we could do better at putting MK II, Mark II, MK III, Mark III, MK IV, Mark IV, MK 4, etcetera in the subject line, this list would be much easier to use. Those of us with Mark III's and older do not have the Disklavier Radio and other MK IV features that are commonly discussed. This discrepancy creates an us (old DK's) versus them (the newest DK) on this list. Many of us wonder why we paid so much for our DK's when Yamaha seems to sell us a new DK so we can get the usability we would like. Yamaha could provide some level of upgradability for us but chooses to ignore us. We do not need the limits of our older DK's constantly demonstrated by the discussion of the DK 4's. If Yamaha makes different DK's for different markets, they could also make upgrade modules, whether they be hardware or software. Mark in Idaho
