There is a way to circumvent the need for the Floppy Disk drive when 
connected to a PC.  On your model, you have a MIDI button all the way to the 
right.  Press the MIDI button, simultaneously with the Record and Power 
buttons to boot the Disklavier.  See if it works.  You probably need a new 
floppy drive.
