Anytime you connect speakers to a Disklavier, they must be POWERED 
speakers - like as in heavy because they have their own power supply. 
Historically we have used Advent speakers that cost $300.  However, just 
bought a pair of M-Audio Stupdiophie AV40 speakers for $135 for my desktop 
computer.  They might also work for a DKV.

I own a MarkIIXG and the audio is monaural.  Still sounds great with one 
large Yamaha studio speaker.
