Anytime you connect speakers to a Disklavier, they must be POWERED speakers - like as in heavy because they have their own power supply. Historically we have used Advent speakers that cost $300. However, just bought a pair of M-Audio Stupdiophie AV40 speakers for $135 for my desktop computer. They might also work for a DKV. I own a MarkIIXG and the audio is monaural. Still sounds great with one large Yamaha studio speaker.
