The finish on your DKV is plastic. You should never use polish because, as you can see, it builds up because it does not sink in. Actually something like Turtle wax that you use on your car would work better. This polyester finish will also buff out using a new, clean buffing wheel in your electric drill. Normally use a soft cloth, like an old T shirt, with just a little water. In this case, use a damp t-shert like cloth, and spray a little Windex on it. See if this cuts through the polish build up. Try just a little place first. For maintenance dusting, I find that the Swiffers work great!
