My MX100 II XG floppy Emulator Status

I opened the casing on my DKC 500 RXG and was surprised to see the floppy drive was connected to the circuit board using a 26 pin Flat Flex Cable. This flat cable contains both the data and signal cable in the same ribbon.. So the emulator that has been discussed here won't work.
The good news is that I have used rootarip to get all of the songs off of my 3.5 floppys using XP and a usb floppy drive.
