[disklavier] Who may join

[disklavier] Who may join

1999-12-22 by Brown, Meta

Please don't exclude anyone from joining the group.

The ground rules have been set. So long as all participants play by those
rules, each may contribute something of value, and each has the opportunity
to learn.

What is the risk of having someone from Yamaha participate in, or simply
monitor, the discussion? They already know that their prospects care about
price. They also know what prices are being paid for their products. We're
becoming better informed buyers and users of Yamaha products, but we're not
revealing any earthshaking secrets here. Maybe participating in this group
will help them to better understand our needs - and hence, to better meet
our needs.

No one has been excluded. I approved MWisner last night and another dozen
new ones this morning.

Hi here I am.... I am a classical pianist/composer, and I own a Yamaha
Silent Disklavier MPX70NT for a week now. It is a fascinating instrument and
very helpful for making and playing back midis.
It only seems that most of you do not use the MPX70 (upright) as I cannot
find any info on this type on the list.
