2002-01-19 by waimanliu2001

Dear all, I have a problem when I want to diskcopy a yamaha piano
disk using the utility. it is ok when copy the disk that record and
generate from the piano, but not the original yamaha disk. when I
copy from the pure DOS environment, the error message 'fail to copy
pianodir.fil'. what should I do ??

Thanks.

You probably have your DKV set to record in SMF0 or SMF1 mode. If it was
set to record in ESEQ mode, you would have the same trouble copying the
disks.

You must use DKcopy only in DOS mode, and the only floppy disks that will
work are the old 2DD formatted in 720k format. You can try formatting the
newer 2HD disks in 720 mode and taping over the bottom, right hole.
