In answer to Victor Lim's question about a .wav to
MIDI program:  there is one that I have tried with
limited success.

Go to http://www.akoff.com 
to download a program that can convert a wave file to
a MIDI file. I have tried it; it's not perfect, but
with some experimentation, it can produce a decent
conversion.  It works best with a
single-note-at-a-time instrument like a flute or even
a human voice.
