HELP

2002-06-20 by Bill Rylett

Dear Friends,
I seem to be having trouble downloading the Competition music to floppy disks. It is something to do with formatted and non-formatted disks. Could someone please explain in simple terms to a not very experienced computer user - thanking you

Bill
You just have to download the files to your hard disk (right click over the song) and then copy the files to de floppy.

It probably depends upon which model of Disklavier you have. If you have a
MarkIIXG and newer, you should not be having any problems. Midi files can be
copied to an IBM formatted disk. If your DKV is older than that, you may
have to use a double density disk (instead of a high density disk) and
convert the midi files to ESEQ files.

If you have a play only DKV, it only plays ESEQ and MIDI format 0 files.
