It does not sound like you get speakers on the Pro model. The web site
didn't even mention how the Pro might record with the new Piano Smart, or if
it works with Piano Smart at all.
The Pro models do a more accurate job of recording key and pedal data, and
you pay big bucks for that. If you are not going to do professional quality
piano recordings, perhaps the regular DC7A with both speakers and Piano
Smart capability would do. Personally, I can't tell the difference between
recordings made on a Pro or a regular Disklavier. Unless the playback is
also on a Pro, I don't think you hear any of that XP stuff anyway. I sort
of recall that problem arising about the files from the e-competition.
Again, the question comes down to how you plan to use the instrument. For
what these things cost, you might want to visit a showroom and try them both
before making your decision.
