Hi, Did there used to be a dkv based on the u3? Someone has informed of one for sale and claims height is 52 inches. All the specifications I can find are quoting 48 inches. Any help on this one please? Keith - - Keith Barrett gw4nby Bridgend South Wales

The older upright Disklaviers were built on the U10 cabinet, which is really a U1 with a raised lid that the control panel was built into. Probably what is for sale is the MX100A or the MX100B - very old models that only play Yamaha files, and not standard MIDI files. Carol Beigel

Absolutely not! They are U1 pianos. Just the cabinet in the lid area is made large enough to hold a control box. Carol

Probably a gray market model - at least if you live in the United States. If so, you will never be able to get parts if anything goes wrong. Carol
