We're planning to record our first album in Toronto on September 25.
Via the magic of Yamaha's remarkable Disklavier Pro (along with many
years of software development), we'll be recording Glenn Gould's 1955
Goldberg Variations in a new album for Sony BMG. This is one of the
best-loved classical piano recordings, but was recorded originally in
monophonic sound. We've used our process to create a note-perfect re-
performance for the Pro, and we'll be working with the Sony team to
make a new audio recording in the latest high-resolution surround sound.

Here are the details of the premiere: http://www.zenph.com/sept25.html

If you'd like to attend the live radio event, noon on September 25th at
the CBC in Toronto, please contact us by Monday for a ticket (there's
limited seating): http://www.zenph.com/send.html

We think the MIDI files will be available for sale, over time. We're
certainly working toward that goal.

We're trying to be aware of the concerns for rights, copyrights, and
licensing. Negotiations continue to progress well with the interested
parties. And, there are, of course, digital rights management
implications.

As a small company, we're trying to focus our resources on R&D and
production, rather than testing all the edges of the American (and then
global) legal system. So, we'll continue to focus on creating a
library of superb performance files, working directly with the rights
holders (e.g., Sony BMG).

Thanks - John Q.
