Is there an owner's manual for the acoustic piano itself on the DC2A?

Is there an owner's manual for the acoustic piano itself on the DC2A?

2008-02-26 by uhhmmmmmmmmmm

Sorry for the barrage of questions, but I've left a couple of messages
at my local Yamaha dealer and they haven't returned my calls yet.

I recently acquired a DC2A (C2 w/ MKIII) piano from the original
owner. I only received 2 (Disklavier) manuals for it: The Basic
Operation Manual and the Advanced Operation Manual. Should there be a
manual specific to the acoustic piano? If so, what is that part
number? Can this be ordered from Yamaha? I seached their manual
library and came up empty.

Also, is the lock for the lid on the C2 functional? Mine did not come
with a key and since I don't have the manual, I don't know if this is a
functional lock or just decorative. If it's usable, are all the keys
the same? Can I go to a local locksmith and have a key made? Does
Yamaha sell replacement keys?

Thank you.

I recently got a brand new DC3M4...there is no manual for the acoustic piano (but what would it say anyway?).

The lock should be functional, I think...Mine came with two keys that I never looked at, to be honest. My guess is that they are all the same, and you should be able to get them from Yamaha.

There is?! What's in this manual? Anyone care to scan and upload the cover of it?

Hi Ron, you need your local dealer. Yes there is a manual (which is pretty neat) for the piano and they should have extra keys. Don't think you should have them made! Hope you are enjoying your piano, Steve

The manual is just a basic guide on how to look after your piano. You can find it here:

Actually, ignore the original link.

Go to :

http://www.yamaha.co.jp/manual/english/

It will come up with "How to care" in one of the search boxes. Just click "SEARCH" and it will take you to a page where you can download the PFD file.
