cleaning the piano

When the dealer sent the tuner the first one said I'd need the "case" guy. Next tuning the "case" person looked, and while my iback was turned rubbed it and viola...it was gone. I am not sure if his cloth was a sort of buffing cloth....but apparently, rahter than a scratch or defect, there was a bit of something closely attached - maybe some sort of plastic wrap that ws practically bonded....and he got it right off.
