DKVBrowser yahoo group creation

DKVBrowser yahoo group creation

2008-08-28 by Kevin Goroway

My apologies in advance for spamming this group. Please delete this if you have no interest in DKVBrowser. In fact, this email is aimed at solving that problem once and for all.

I had been trying for some time to move all support and feature requests (and discussion) about DKVBrowser over to the sourceforge forums for quite some time. Unfortunately, the sourceforge forums are terrible. And, because of that, there has been reluctance/resistance to using it.

I've gone and created a new yahoo group dedicated to DKVBrowser. You can join it by going to this address:

http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/dkvbrowser/

(mind you that I've noticed that sometimes when I post URLs they end up with embedded spaces in them...you may need to remove them to make that link work)

The group should have very little traffic (unless there is a sudden influx of people who need support, or have feature requests!), and I've set it up so that first time posters get moderated (so there should be little to no spam). I've also enabled the "files" section of that group which may end up being an easier place to put new releases of DKVBrowser.

So, if you have any interest in DKVBrower, please come join us in that group. If you haven't been following it recently, the newest version is quite a bit more polished when running on Mac OSX, and all platforms now get control over all of the different "volume" settings that they are used to having from the PRC-100.

Hope to see you there!
Thanks.
-Kevin

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
