Connecting to the internet

Connecting to the internet

2009-12-10 by Joseph

Hi

I would like to connect my DU1E3 to my router without using a Ethernet cord. My computer is running Windows XP. The router(a Westell 327W) is used WiFi for a laptop and an Airport Express that is hooked to my stereo system to stream music through itunes.

Is it possible to use another Airport Express to link the Piano to the Router for streaming.

Thanks,
Joseph

Joseph,
I have used a linksys wireless bridge for 12 months successfully but now I cannot get it configured correctly because I moved my router to a different location temporarily. I have been asking the group for the correct network settings several times but no one wants to offer the how to.

I sometimes have to connect multiple laptops and Disklaviers. For some connections, I use a Buffalo Airstation wireless system, but for others, I use the devolo system from Germany ( http://www.devolo.com/ ). This is the easiest and most reliable system I have come across. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have a US distributor. :(
